This water- and dirt-repellent finish is applied to the outer fabric. This causes raindrops to roll off. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, so-called PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health. Regular re-treatment is necessary for lasting water and dirt repellency.

The product comes in a regular fit, i.e., a regular fit that skims the body.

The main material in this product consists primarily of recycled polyamide. This is sourced, for example, from old fishing nets or carpets. This allows valuable resources to be reused.

Goose and duck down are a miracle of nature! They offer perfect thermal insulation and are breathable, despite their low weight. We only use down from animals raised in accordance with animal welfare standards that is certified according to the independent RDS standard for this product's filling. This is important to us. Period.

Down certified according to the Responsible Down Standard (RDS) is permanently water-repellent with a Durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish. VAUDE does not use fluorocarbons, so-called PFAS or PFC chemicals, which are suspected of being harmful to health. Even when wet, the down remains fluffy and retains its excellent insulating properties. Gentle care is recommended to ensure lasting warmth.

Important: When sitting down, pull the lower slider up to your stomach. This reduces pressure on the zipper and prevents it from breaking. It gives you greater freedom of movement when cycling or driving without having to open the jacket completely.
