With our Green Shape label, we offer functional, environmentally-friendly products made from sustainable materials. They are manufactured under fair working conditions along the entire supply chain. The criteria for the label are strict and transparent. They are under constant review and cover the entire lifecycle of the product from design, through production, care and maintenance, to repair and the product’s end of life.

Environmentally friendly water and stain resistant finish. This water and stain resistant finish is applied to the outer fabric of your product so that water pearls up and runs right off – without the use of environmentally harmful fluorocarbons (PFCs). This protects you from the rain and keeps the planet clean. Regular reapplication is necessary for permanent waterproofing and stain resistance.

High quality polyester made from recycled PET bottles. Collect, clean, granulate and spin into high quality polyester yarn – that’s what’s involved in the recycling of PET bottles. In the manufacturing process, we can reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 50% while completely eliminating the use of new fossil fuels. This conserves resources and keeps our ecological footprint small.

These ergonomic shoulder straps ensure optimum freedom of movement and extra comfort for your next mountain, trekking or hiking tour. Ergoshape shoulder straps are designed to be wider where they rest on your shoulders and narrower at the front and under your arms. Ergoshape shoulder straps are specifically adapted to the different needs of women and men.

VAUDE consistently uses synthetic and/or plant-based materials for our vegan products. However, traces of animal-based components in dyes or adhesives cannot be completely ruled out.

Shifting Back Length allows the shoulder strap attachment of your VAUDE backpack to be continuously adjusted in height. This helps the pack distribute the load ideally and ensures a perfect fit that is optimized to your individual torso length so you can fully enjoy your adventure.

Rear-ventilated and full contact back in one. VAUDE backpacks with Aeroflex Control allow you to fully adjust your pack’s ventilation space. The rear-ventilated back can be converted to a full contact back when needed. It’s up to you – more distance equals optimal ventilation, less distance equals better balance because the center of gravity of your pack is closer to your own center of gravity. With this suspension system, you’ll be perfectly prepared for all kinds of adventures. The full spring wire frame also ensures excellent pack stability.
